The Bottom Mapping Sonar, the HS-600/600F allows for continuously searching a wide area of the seabed in the port and starboard directions.
The detected data is processed and displayed as a 3-D bottom map in real time. Further, the data can be recorded and edited off-line to create a wide-range bottom map. The side-scan display mode is available to detect reflection intensity at both sides of the vessel. This mode is effective for detecting underwater objects.
Compared to the conventional single-beam system, the HS-600/600F has greater sounding efficiency.This is useful in management surveys, hydrographical surveys, construction works on port areas, bank-protection works, dam administration, underwater cable route surveys, fishery researches, surveys on fish shelters, etc.
